NTG Vegan Hot Chocolate


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened nut milk

  • 1/2 cup boiling water

  • 1-2 tsp full fat coconut milk

  • 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 square 70-90% dark chocolate (optional, but it’s makes it extra chocolatey)

Directions:

  1. If you have a Nespresso froth, add nut milk and cocoa powder and froth. If not, pour the milk into a saucepan (sans cocoa powder) and cook over high heat until it’s hot, but not boiling.

  2. Boil water.

  3. Remove from nut milk from heat or the frother, and add the rest of the ingredients, including boiling water.

  4. Stir until well combined.

  5. I added some more cocoa powder and a cinnamon stick! No cinnamon stick? Add a dash more for blood sugar regulation!
